Safety and Warning Instructions

- Place the device exclusively on a stable, level, and heat-resistant surface.
- Ensure that the mains voltage matches the specifications on the rating plate.
- Children and unauthorized persons must not operate the device or be left unattended near it.
- During operation, the device’s surfaces, particularly the heating plate, can become very hot – risk of burns. Touch the plate only using the designated handle.
- Never clean the device with a water jet or immerse it in liquids to avoid short circuits and electric shocks.
- Before cleaning, maintenance, or extended periods of non-use, switch off the device, disconnect it from the power supply, and allow it to cool completely.
- Do not operate the device unattended.
- Keep the ventilation openings clear to prevent overheating.
- Repairs must only be carried out by qualified personnel.
- If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced with one of the same specifications by the manufacturer or a qualified technician.
- Before first use, operate the device for 10 minutes without food to remove manufacturing residues – any odors during this process are normal.
- Clean the grill plate and housing with a soft, damp cloth and mild cleaning agent. Do not use abrasive cleaners or steel wool.
- Regularly empty and clean the drip tray to maintain hygienic conditions.
- In case of overheating, the temperature limiter will automatically shut off the device. Allow it to cool before restarting.
- If visible damage or malfunctions occur, stop operation immediately and contact qualified personnel.
- Dispose of packaging materials safely and keep them out of reach of children, as they pose a suffocation hazard.
- The device is designed exclusively for making crêpes and similar foods. Any other use may cause damage and compromise safety.
- Ensure that the power plug is always accessible to quickly disconnect the device from the power supply in case of emergency.
